I cannot tell you how exciting and wonderful it was
to see so many of you at class this week! Charity did such a great job, and
each of you brought smiles to both of us!
This week I will begin physical therapy and know
that I am well on the way to recovery. The many ways that each of you have let
me know you were thinking of me and praying for me have meant the world to me!
God is GOOD!
You can view the new and greatly expanded class
schedule for the rest of this year here! Part of that is because we will not be
doing a Holiday Stamp Camp, so I am offering a variety of classes to allow
everyone to do their "favorite" part of stamp camp as a class! I am very
excited about the things to come!
I have to say, this surgery was much more painful
than I thought it would be, which also means, I am on very good drugs, so don't be
surprised by anything I say!
Tears come to my eyes and joy to my heart as I read
every email and card, enjoy the flowers and meals, and just love the warm visits
during this recovery! Thank all of you, dear friends! How blessed I am!
Thanks to a great team, CARD CLASS will be next
week as scheduled. I am hoping for lot of registrations so that I can see many
of you I have missed this summer! I will have help, as I cannot make it through
a whole day, but I can drop in the studio every hour or so for 15 minutes. It will be great fun, and so now you get to go back to school
Keep your eyes open for the Holiday Mini! WOW!
You should get it in the next 2 weeks.
I have talked with my doctor and my family, and I
have decided to take their advise and not do Holiday Stamp Camp this year. I
will have several AMAZING AND AWESOME events through three months to do fabulous
projects like we would do at Stamp Camp, just not doing all of them in one
sitting! Plus, I will have several dates each event so there will be less
waiting to as far a s sharing, etc. I have a feeling you will love what I am
planning while on drugs!! My new updated schedule will be up by the end of next
And there are only 10 days left to take advantage
of the terrific $85.00 recruit special and I would LOVE to have some new team
members while lying on my back! HA!!!! I love all of you and cannot wait for "normal",
whatever that is!
This is Dee Ann ... I received this e-mail early this morning - just now able to post it:
Just a note to let you know Joann's surgery went
well and she should be home Saturday, hopefully without the chronic back and leg
pain! We would love to see you after we get home from the
hospital, but Joann needs the hospital time to rest. Your prayers are what are
most needed now.
I have returned from Convention with my head filled
with wonderful and creative new ideas and floating on Cloud 9!
My many thanks to all of my stampers and the
wonderful demonstrators on my team who helped me place as the number THREE
Demonstrator of the Year in the US! It was a very exciting moment and so much
more special because my dear hubby was there to walk me to the stage and share
the moment with me!
I enjoyed the many challenges and many wonderful
opportunities that my year on the Advisory Board brought, and was delighted to
receive the respect and honor that being in that position brought, but am now
ready to move on to other things and I wish well the new Advisory Board and also
Kim Peck, who will be their mentor from our Advisory Board year.
As exciting as last week was, this week is a really
big week as I have the back fusion surgery tomorrow morning! Thanks to my great
staff, classes and communications will continue during in my recovery period,
and hopefully I will not fall behind in offering good customer service and
getting your orders to you in a timely manner! So please feel free to email or
call anytime! And of course, I am looking forward to booking some great
workshops and we have began planning Holiday Stamp Camp, so mark your calendars
now as we are doing it a bit earlier to allow everyone time to get their
Christmas cards and gifts made! September 25th and 26th will be the
dates for that always fabulous event!
I love you all and covet your prayers as I
go through this surgery!
