Whew! I am not sure which direction the wind is
blowing right now, but I do know that in just 3 weeks it will be blowing
somewhere in Hawaii on Jerry and me! We leave 3 weeks from today for the
wonderful Stampin' Up! 2009 incentive trip and have tacked some extra time on, so
Mother's report was as we expected. She will be
having surgery on her back either March 12th, or April 7th. It all has to do
with the doctor's schedule. We would love for her to have it over before we
leave, and my sister, brother and aunt will help out during recovery (which with
this new procedure should be a rapid recovery.) Praise God! But we are trusting
God that it will be the right time for her. I had a spinal epidural on my back this week, and
am feeling so much better!
Now LET"S TALK FUN!! Coming up next week will be
both the Good Friends class and the Scrappin' Again class with the wonderful
Sherry Rist as my special partner and creative scrapbooker. I do hope you can
come to one of these! There are pictures of the projects here and you can check
my schedule. Registration is due NOW, so I do need to know ASAP!
Last week's card class had one of the biggest
attendance I have seen this year, and it was so much fun! Plan to come to the
March card class and get those Sale-a-brations orders in! And I do hope you all got the VERY EXCITING news
that SU! will go back to the ONE CATALOG A YEAR with fabulous Occasions catalog
every 4 months!
Watch for some wonderful new dies for our Big Shots
to become available March 1st! And if you have been thinking about a Big Shot,
I will be doing a free class March 7th from 9:30 to 11:00 for those who have Big
Shots and want to try some new fun projects and dies, or for those who are
interested in this fantastic die cut machine!
What a great week I have had and what a great week
I am looking forward to! First, Mother will be seeing the doctor today so we
can get surgery scheduled to releave the horrible back pain that has debilatated
her for the past several months. Thank God that her problem has been found and
a solution is on the way!
Jerry (hubby) has been to the doctors several times
in the past 2 weeks, and has finally been prescribed some medication that is
helping! WHOOHOO! Sick hubbys are NO fun!
And, thannks to two amazing hostesses who held two
fabulous workshops, I have earned the SU! cruise for 2010! So lots of things to
celebrate while everyone is Sale-a-brating!
I hope to see lots of you at some of the fun
upcoming classes and workshops!
We only thought the Super Bowl was over! NOW it
is time for the stampers and scrappers Super Bowl! Sale-a-brations has just kicked off and the first
quarter clock has started. The offerings this year cannot help but make
everyone a winner!
We will have practice with the wonderful products
here at my studio later this week. Be sure to check my website or class schedulefor the details. You can register for any of my classes using this registration form.
My week is starting off with the excitement of
Sale-a-brations, but also with my hands full here at home. Jerry (hubby) is
home from work with a cold, and Mother is in so much back pain that I could cry
seeing her hurt this bad. We will finally get to see a neurosurgeon next Monday
and hopefully he will have direction we go in to get her back to the "oh my
gosh, you cannot really be 80" person we are all used to!
Look for some samples of Sale-a-brations posted
soon! Now, back to the Super Bowl of Stampin'Up! I
really need to come up with a great commercial!
